Cookin’ Up News at Arbor Day Farm
It’s a big week in the press for executive chef Nick Maloney and his crew at the Timber Dining Room at Arbor Day Farm.
Over the last three days, the restaurant has been featured for stories in both of Nebraska’s two largest newspapers:
This morning, Jeff Korbelik at the Lincoln Journal Star reviewed the dining experience at the Timber; and on Wednesday, the Omaha World-Herald recruited Nick to help them make some new (and incredibly interesting) salsas.
From Jeff’s story:

“Thirteen years.That’s how long it had been since the Timber Dining Room at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center in Nebraska City had updated its menu.Executive chef Nick Maloney, who had been on board for two years, thought it was finally time to do so…Diners will be pleased with the result.”
